Family Ministry
Family Ministry has a threefold mission of strengthening marriages, equipping parents, and building community among families. We love welcoming new families to the fellowship of parents who are raising their kids together in this place. It takes a village to raise children well. Family Ministry aims to be that village for you and your family.
Below are ways that we gather.
Wednesday Night Ministries
Three sessions per year (fall, winter, and spring), 6 to 8 weeks per session, a church-wide dinner in the Fellowship Center is served from 5:00 – 6:00 PM, followed by separate studies and small-groups for children, young teens, and adults from 6:00 – 7:15 PM.
Wednesday Night Ministries’ upcoming fall session starts on Wednesday, September 9, and will run through Wednesday, October 21.
Family Ministry Events
Join us this fall! The following Family Ministry events are open to families with children of all ages.
Never Stop Dating (Parents Night Out)
September 18, 5:00-8:00 PM
An opportunity for parents to invest in their relationship and enjoy a night out with childcare provided by the Family Ministry team. Kids will enjoy crafts, games, and a movie! Pizza and popcorn provided. Nursery care is available!
Christ Lutheran Church’s Annual Fall Festival
October 17, 5:00-7:00 PM
Each year we host a Fall Festival for our church, preschool families, and community! All are welcome, invite your friends to join us for food, music, spooky house, carnival games and trunk-or-treat!
Family Picnic In the Park
November 8, following 10:30 AM service
Our quarterly family ministry picnic will take place at Duane R. Harte park this fall. Pick up lunch on the way and meet at the park, Immediately following our 10:30 service.

Family Camp - Annually
Taking place every October, Family Camp at the Ventura Ranch KOA is a highlight of the year. It’s a weekend filled with rich fellowship and a lot of fun with other families. Accommodations at the KOA include cabins, tent sites, or RV sites. This year’s Family Camp is October 2nd-4th.
