Sundays 8:00 & 10:30

Sunday service is the source and summit of our life together. We value rich worship, solid preaching, and meaningful prayer. Each service is 70-80 minutes and founded on three pillars.

Scripture

Readings from both the Old and New Testaments, liturgical responses between pastor and people, and the weekly sermon all serve to root us deeply in the Word of God. The Bible is the bedrock of our worship.

Sacrament

Baptism, for infants of believing parents through all ages of adulthood, and Communion, for all baptized believers who know their need for grace, serve as sure testimonies of God’s will toward his people. We celebrate them weekly.

The Spirit

We believe God speaks to us, and we to God, in every Sunday service. The Holy Spirit is the essential translator of this divine-and-human conversation. His work is welcomed and prayed for.

FAQ: WHAT ABOUT KIDS IN WORSHIP?

We love having kids in worship. Studies show that worshiping alongside one’s parents is a major contributor to lifelong faith. To help, clipboards with sermon-related activity sheets are available at the entrance of the sanctuary.

Since young children may have a hard time sitting through an entire service, the 10:30 service always has available both Nursery Care (up to 3 years) and Kids’ Church (through 3rd grade). Children are dismissed after the Children’s Message and return before Communion.

If your children are new and nervous to attend by themselves, you are welcome to accompany them until they (and you!) are comfortable and confident.
