Sunday Worship

8 and 10:30 a.m.

Worship is an expression of the covenantal relationship between God and his people. For that reason, central to every service is God’s Word and Holy Communion (whereby God speaks to us), as well as prayer and song (whereby we speak to God).

Services at CLC last about 60 minutes and are “liturgical,” which means they follow a general order that is meant to encourage engaged participation and prayer. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. Baptized believers who desire deliverance from their sin are welcome to commune.

Sunday Catechism

9:15 - 10:15 a.m.

Offering Spiritual Formation for all ages and stages of life. Our Sunday Catechism class are on summer break and will return on Sunday, September 8. Click here to see the list of Sunday School classes and Bible studies.

Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

We love having your kids in worship. (Not to mention, all the studies show that regularly worshiping next to Mom and Dad is one of the most spiritually formative things a child can experience.) Even so, we know that especially younger children may have a hard time sitting through an entire service. For that reason, Kids Church is offered for 3rd graders and below during the 10:30 a.m. service every Sunday.

Children start the service with their parents in the sanctuary (“Big Church”), come forward for a Children’s Message (~15 minutes into the service), and then are dismissed for a kid-specific teaching in the Fellowship Center. Children return to their parents shortly after the sermon concludes.
