Sarah Scopio

Sarah Scopio joined Christ Lutheran Church as Communications Director after spending over 20 years working as a writer, editor and public relations professional in the nonprofit sector. She previously worked as an editor at Scholastic, Inc., as associate director of public relations at Mount Saint Mary's University, and as associate director of communications at Lay Mission-Helpers Association. Additionally, she has taught college-level writing courses as an adjunct professor at Biola University, Long Beach State, Azusa Pacific University and College of the Canyons. Her favorite course to teach is Detective Fiction. She and her husband, Todd, have been members at Christ Lutheran for over eight years and have three children: Sienna, Luke and Savannah.
